2019 CHRISTMAS DECOR PICKS

Over the weekend I put up my tree and decorated my apartment with all of my Christmas decorations. I have started decorating for Christmas in mid-November which may be early for some, but I love it. One of my favorite things is to turn off all of the lights except for the tree lights and hang out and relax and watch TV every night, so that is a big motivation for decorating early.

I always like adding to my Christmas decor collection each year, and this year so many retailers have such festive and adorable decorations. Today I am sharing my top Christmas decor picks.

1.) Embroidered Woodland Christmas Pillow, Pier 1, $34.99

I love the simplicity and elegance of this pillow. The gold and silver gives it an elevated style that can be great in any living room.

2.) Light Up Birch Tree, Pottery Barn, $59-$99

I always love having added items with illumination because of the glow it gives to a room, and I love the sophisticated look of these birch trees. They would look great on tables, mantles, or bookshelves.

3.) LED Wire Christmas Wreath JOY, Target, $45

I love wreaths, and I love the greenery on this wreath. The word “joy” written in LED lights is an added bonus, and of course, more illumination!

4.) Red Plaid Woven Throw, Michaels, $37

I love all things plaid, and I love the classic and traditional look of this red plaid throw blanket. This will make any couch look festive.

5.) Brass Reindeer, Crate and Barrel, $10.95-$16.95

I like adding touches of gold to my home decor, and I love these brass reindeer. These are so simple and come in a few different sizes and are another great addition to tables and mantles.

6.) Traditional Gold Nutcracker, Target, $9.99

I LOVE nutcrackers! I always have since I was a kid, and I collect them. I make Adam buy me one every year for Christmas and I am running out of room to put them in our somewhat small apartment. I love the neutral colors of this particular nutcracker and the price point is amazing!

7.) Plaid Stocking, Nordstrom, $20.99 on sale

Christmas decorations are not complete without stockings, and I love this black and white buffalo check stocking. This stocking would look good in any home and won’t go out of style.

8.) Good Tidings Inset Box Sign, Nordstrom, $27.99 on sale

I like replacing a few of my regular pictures that hang on my walls with wreaths or Christmas-themed pictures during the holidays. I love this Good Tidings one from Nordstrom because of its wintry scene and overall pretty look.

9.) 9-ft. Pre-Lit Spruce Garland, Kohl’s, $59.99

Lit garland always adds a more festive look whether you put it on a mantle, staircase, or in my apartment up on the curtain rod to my sliding glass door. This garland is flocked and has very realistic greenery.

10.) Snowflake Candle Holders, Crate and Barrel, $5.95-$12.95

If you haven’t noticed, for Christmas I am all about the illumination! These white porcelain candle holders come in two different sizes and feature a snowflake cut out. These are so simple and can even be used all winter long and not just at Christmas time.

Decorating the home is one of the best parts of the holidays, so I hope you found this guide useful. I will be sharing holiday gift guides on the blog, so check back soon!
