Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and no matter your plans, an outfit is needed. With the pandemic still in full force and lockdowns still in place, your Valentine’s Day plans may look a little different this year. Whether you are going out for a nice dinner or staying in for an at-home date night, I am sharing a few Valentine’s Day outfit ideas.
If you are still planning on going out for Valentine’s Day and are looking for something a little more dressy, you can opt for an outfit like I did above. This light pink and white tie dye satin midi skirt is super on-trend right now and has the perfect color scheme for Valentine’s Day. I paired it with a cream high-cuff sweatshirt and accessorized the outfit with a pink headband, pink booties, and bow earrings. This outfit is classic but romantic enough for the holiday. Below are a few other dressy options:
Smocked Satin Dress, H&M, $15.99
Satin Open=Back Dress, H&M, $35.99
Floral Print Dress, H&M, $24.99
If you are planning on having more of a low-key Valentine’s Day of staying in and ordering take-out or cooking a meal of your own, you may want to wear something casual but still nice. A festive sweater and a pair of jeans is the perfect casual look for staying in but still feeling stylish. Below are a few sweater options that can be worn with your favorite style of jeans:
Balloon Sleeve Turtleneck Sweater, Francesca’s, $14.98
Striped Sweater, Pink Lily, $45.00
Cozy Mock Neck Sweater, Express, $30
And last, if you are looking to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a super low-key way, like ordering a pizza and watching Netflix, I have some great lounge wear options for you. This is personally how my husband and I like to spend Valentine’s Day. We stay in and avoid any crowds and order a heart-shaped plain pizza from a neighborhood pizza shop. The below lounge wear sets are comfortable and casual but have an adorable style for the holiday:
Knit Sweater and Jogger Set, Nasty Gal, $33.75
Heart Print Ruffle Set, Shein. $17.00
Heart Cozy Top & Heart Cozy Pants, LOFT, $34.50 & $39.50
I hope the Valentine’s Day outfit ideas I gave were useful and inspiring for you for the upcoming holiday. No matter what your plans are, there is a perfect outfit out there. Enjoy the holiday!
