It is no secret that I love Banana Republic Factory. I do try to switch up where I shop, but certain stores are just a perfect reflection of your style, and that is Banana Republic Factory/Banana Republic for me. To me, both stores are classic, stylish, and have a certain level of sophistication that I look for in my clothing. Although simple, this olive summer sweater has all three of those qualities.
When I am buying items that are a bit more simple in style, I love when they have one small detail that stands out. When I saw the flared sleeves on this sweater I was sold on it. This sweater comes in 7 different colors, so there is one for just about anybody. I had a hard time deciding which color to get because I like every option, but I settled on this olive one. Olive is a great color that can be worn during any season and I love how it looks with nude and cognac accessories. This sweater is also lightweight and with the shorter sleeves it can be worn in warmer temperatures.
For this look, I paired the sweater with a pair of these white distressed skinny jeans from Target. I have talked about these jeans in other posts and how I love how they fit and their stain-resistant material. White jeans are also just a summer staple for me, because they look great with anything. I did a half-tuck with my sweater and added a skinny brown belt along with brown heeled sandals. An outfit is never complete for me without a pair of statement earrings, so I added these coral beaded earrings for a contrasting pop of color. I have been using this purse non-stop lately, so it made an appearance again in this outfit, but it is just so versatile.
This sweater can be worn so many different ways depending on your occasion. It works well with a pair of jeans, it would look great casually with a pair of tie-waist shorts like these, or even with a pencil skirt for a business casual outfit for work.
