One item that I think should be in every woman’s closet is a white button-down shirt. Of course there could be a variety of different styles of one, but it really is a versatile wardrobe staple. Today I am sharing my new favorite classic white shirt, along with a few other options.
I haven’t been discreet about loving classic styles, so I like the simplicity of a white button-down shirt. A completely simple one can be worn so many different ways, but there are also great options out there that have more unique details. J Crew recently placed a ton of summer items on sale, so I snagged this white shirt. This shirt is so perfect for summer because of its lightweight cotton material and short sleeves. The slim silhouette is really flattering and the cuffed sleeves give it a nice detail. My favorite part of the shirt is the tie-waist which creates a large bow. This is what makes this top more stylish than a simple button-down,
This top could be worn with a number of different bottoms, but I decided to pair it with olive green skinny pants from Banana Republic Factory. These pants are the Devon Legging and are great because they fit like a legging but have a much dressier look. I love the overall classic but chic style of this outfit, and accessorized it with black heeled sandals and this black, white, and straw clutch.
