Did anyone else have a chance to snag items from last weekend’s vineyard vines for Target launch? Every spring, Target has a new limited time only partnership with a popular brand, and this year’s was with vineyard vines. All of the items in the collection have a classic and preppy style, which is signature to vineyard vines, and this navy and white gingham shirt dress is no exception.
If you are a Target fan, you know that these limited time only partnerships every spring are a pretty big deal. Typically, the items go live online at 3:00 AM eastern time the day of the launch (once it is midnight pacific time.) I was awake so I signed on and was able to grab the few items I was looking for. One of those items is this gingham shirt dress. I love the classic and preppy look of shirt dresses, and I have already talked about how I am loving the gingham trend lately. Unfortunately, this shirt dress sold out within 30 minutes of being listed, but I have included similar options below:
Shirt dresses, particularly in gingham print, are perfect for summer and especially today on Memorial Day. The great thing about these dresses are they can be worn in multiple seasons. Obviously they work in spring with sandals, but they also could be worn in fall with a cardigan or vest layered on top with ankle or riding boots. What is better than versatile clothing?
