When you think of style icons, one of the first people that comes to mind is Jackie Kennedy aka Jackie O. She was the ultimate style icon in the 60’s and 70’s for having a put-together, classic style that so many women wanted to emulate. In a lot of ways I can relate to her as I also love classic and put-together styles, so when I put on this dress I felt it had a major Jackie-O inspired style.
When you think of mod styles you think of Jackie-O and while her retro style had vintage vibe, there are ways to give that style a modern spin today. This dress from Target is exactly that! The babydoll fit of the dress gives it the retro vibe, along with the large bow at the neckline and puffed long sleeves. The color of this dress is also perfect for the upcoming fall season and comes in a hot pink shade. To really give my look a retro vibe, I added this knotted headband in the same rust color which can also be found at Target.
