I love a good blouse and one of my favorite places to buy them is Target. Target’s owned brand. A New Day, is one of their lines that focuses on more work wear options such as blouses and they constantly are getting new styles in. This brand is by far my favorite one that Target offers, and when I saw this leaf print blouse recently I had to have it!
My two favorite colors to wear are blue and burgundy, so when I saw this blouse featured both colors, I fell in love with it instantly. Not only are the colors perfect, but I also love the leaf print because I think it is interesting. This blouse is so versatile because it can easily be dressed up or down. If you were wearing this blouse to work or another event that requires more business casual attire, it could be paired with skinny dress pants or a pencil skirt. You could even add a blazer or cardigan on top for a layered look.
I wanted to wear this blouse in more of a casual summer look, so I paired it with a pair of navy paperbag shorts with a tie waist. Both light blue and burgundy pair well with navy, so I thought this would be a great fit. This blouse could also be worn with a white skirt or shorts for a cute summer style. To accessorize my outfit, I added these burgundy pump sandals, which are also from Target, as well as a small burgundy Kate Spade bag. The burgundy heels are perfect for summer and early Fall because their color looks great with neutral outfits. The shoes are also comfortable and very easy to walk in. The burgundy accessories complement the outfit perfectly.
