Sometimes I like to incorporate different styles into my wardrobe, but the few characteristics I like to keep consistent are items that are feminine, classic, and unique. Sometimes I hit the jackpot and find something that fits all of these characteristics, which is the case when it comes to this light blue textured blouse.
I have always known about the website, but I just ordered my first item from Shein last week. Honestly, I don’t know why I have waited so long! There are literally thousands of items to browse and they have every single category possible. I spent some time looking through the tops and focused my search on blouses.
On the first page of the blouses, this appliqued light blue blouse showed up and caught my eye immediately. My favorite color is by far light blue, so that was the first factor that sold me. Since I do like feminine things, the appliques all over the blouse are such an interesting detail to me because I love the texture they give. The blouse also features flounce sleeves for a girly look which just adds to the overall look. The best thing about this top? It is only $8! Seriously..$8. Why have I waited so long to order from Shein with these prices? Of course the quality isn’t high-end, but I would say it is comparable to something from a store such as Forever21, so I am okay with it. I also was pleased to see that the top looks the same in person as it does on the website.
This top can easily be dressed up or down. You could wear it with a pair of skinny jeans for a simple, easy-to-wear look, or it can be dressed up as I did here with a skirt. I recently got this white linen skirt from J Crew Factory, which features a scalloped hem. Unfortunately this skirt just sold out in white, but it is available on sale in red, pink, navy, and black. I styled the outfit with a pair of simple nude heeled sandals and a navy clutch. I bought this clutch at Target last year features tassels and it is one of my favorite bags.
