I have bought quite a few items with tropical prints lately and honestly I haven’t noticed until I started planning some outfits out. Within the last 2 weeks, I purchased a tropical print jumpsuit, dress, and also this romper. What can I say..summer calls for all of the tropical prints, including this LOFT floral print beach romper.
Like jumpsuits, rompers are great alternatives to dresses because they look just as put-together. What is even better about a romper is the shorts are so much cooler to wear in the hot summer temperatures, which there is no lack of here in Pittsburgh. I love this Loft romper because it is made of linen making it lightweight and cool. The floral print on the romper has a definite tropical vibe, and the navy, turquoise, and mustard yellow is a lovely color combination.
I always love versatility when it comes to clothing, and this romper is just that. You could wear this romper as a cover-up over a swimsuit for a stylish cover option. There are times when I am at the beach but stop at a beachfront restaurant for lunch, so wearing this over my suit is perfect because it’s easy but still looks put-together enough. The romper could be worn really casually with a denim jacket and a pair of slide-on sandals, or it could even be dressed up with nude heeled sandals and a nice clutch. For this look I paired it with a pair of navy tie-up espadrilles which are casual but still feminine and complement the coloring of the romper perfectly. I recently got these great navy statement earrings from Target which are made of raffia, so I added them to be consistent with a summery look. This straw hat, also from Target, is another accessory I plan on wearing with the romper.
I feel like the summer is flying right by and I am trying to share as many summer looks as I possibly can until it is back to sweater weather. Look for more beachy looks on the blog soon. Until next time!
