One of the most popular trends this season is paper bag shorts. Paper bag shorts have a higher waist, usually a more relaxed fit and a tie-waist. With all of those factors, paper bag shorts are flattering on just about anyone!
I recently purchased this pair of navy paper bag shorts from Banana Republic Factory on clearance. I love these shorts because they have a 4 inch inseam which works best for me, and they are comfortable. These shorts have a high rise without being too high and a tie waist for a cute detail. I wear a lot of neutral tones in gray, white, nude, and brown, so this navy pair is versatile for my wardrobe. I love these shorts because they can be worn with so many different things and are easily dressed up or down. I was wearing this outfit to do some shopping, so I was going for a little bit more of a casual look. I paired it with this white and pale pink striped button-down shirt from Target. This shirt is lightweight and perfect for cooler days in spring and summer, and it has a simple, classic look. I also love how the colors navy, pink, and white look together.
To accessorize this casual outfit, I added a pair of these gray open toed heels also from Target. These heels dress up the outfit a bit, and they are comfortable but stylish. To finish the outfit, I added this pink head wrap for a cute accessory. Again, this headband is from Target. I just love Target’s accessories because of their style and value! I think this headband adds some style to an outfit, but it is also great for bad hair days, and who doesn’t have those every now and then?
