The older I get, the more I value a cute pair of pajamas. I remember the days of high school and college where my standard set of pjs were a random t-shirt and a pair of random shorts. As time goes on, I find myself always shopping for new, adorable pajamas, and have the desire to sleep in style.
Like most things I shop for, my go-to place for pajamas is Target. Recently, Target replaced their Xhilaration and Gilligan O’Malley sleep brands with their new brands Stars Above and Colsie. Colsie is more for the juniors crowd with bright colors, crop tops, and graphic tees. Stars Above, which is my preferred brand, has a more traditional style of pajamas featuring matching sets, nightgowns, soft colors, and pretty floral prints.
Stars Above is also different from the former Gilligan O’Malley as it divides the brand assortment into 3 different fabric categories: Soft, Cozy, and Cool. The soft fabric is a jersey knit, the cozy fabric is a warm, super-soft brushed fabric and the cool fabric is a lightweight tencel. The pajamas I am wearing in this post are in the soft fabric category and I can attest that their description is accurate. I took these pajamas with me on my trip to California for a cute and comfortable option, and they were perfect. And the best part? This set is only $22! I struggled deciding what print I wanted to buy in these pajamas, but settled on the yellow and white striped set. I plan on buying the green and pink floral print set soon, though.
If you haven’t checked out the new sleep brands at Target, you need to do so! The sleep and intimates shop in the newer stores is also completely remodeled with new fixtures that resemble Victoria’s Secret and Aerie, which is also exciting. Let me know if you have tried the new brands below!
