With the warmer weather arriving it means it is one of my favorite times of year – dress season! Dresses are always so easy to throw on but look stylish and put-together. Two of my favorite things when it comes to clothing is blue tones and stripes, so this blue dress from Gap really spoke to me. Blue and white stripes always make me think of summer and is one of my favorite combinations for clothing. This dress is great because it has a tie waist, loose and blousey sleeves, and a super breezy feel because it is made from 100% cotton. Plus it has pockets, and who doesn’t love pockets on a dress!?
I styled this dress with these mustard yellow tie-up espadrille wedges from Old Navy. I love tie-up espadrilles because of their feminine style and comfort, and I like the contrasting blue and yellow color combination. These exact wedges also comes in black and dusty rose. I finished the look with a simple straw bag that is always a summer staple for me.
