LOFT is a store that you can find items that are casual but always classic and put-together looking. As someone who generally likes more dressed up looks, I appreciate this about LOFT. I know that no matter what I buy from there, whether it is a dress or something more casual, it will make me look stylish and that is no exception when it comes to this sweater tank and crochet shorts.
This summer has been one of the hottest I can remember here in Pittsburgh. It has been over 85 degrees and very humid for multiple weeks now, and wearing cool clothing has been a must. I am a fan of dresses and skirts, but when I am doing something that requires an outfit that is a little more casual I opt for shorts. When I found these crochet shorts at LOFT, I fell in love. These shorts are made from 100% cotton, so they are lightweight and perfect for summer heat. I love that the shorts have crocheted detailing and a scalloped hem because they are so feminine looking. Them being a creamy white also makes them incredibly versatile and the tie waist adds an adorable detail.
I paired these shorts with a bright pastel pink sweater tank which is also from LOFT. I have always loved the look of sweater tanks! I have a few different ones but they are all in neutral colors, so I thought I would add this fun pink color to my collection. The color of this pink also looks great with the cream shorts, and its simple style doesn’t compete with the crochet detailing. If you want something a little less colorful, this top also comes in solid white. To accessorize my outfit, I added this small straw handbag I recently got from Shein, a pair of nude wedges and statement earrings. I also think these shorts would look great with a chambray top of some sort for another simple and casual look that is still stylish.
