Target is known for having limited time only partnerships with popular higher end brands. It used to be once a year, but they have been increasing to a few different LTO’s a year. Last week, they introduced their second designer dress collection featuring designers Christopher John Rogers, ALEXIS, and RIXO. I want to share a few of my favorite picks!
Christopher John Rogers was named the 2020 CFDA American Emerging Designer of the Year. He specializes in bright, colorful designs that are unique and even a bit over-the-top. There were a few dresses of his I liked, but this two-toned pink shirt dress really caught my eye. I am not at all a pink person, but this dress spoke to me because it reminds me so much of Barbie, and I love Barbie.

The second designer of the dress collection is ALEXIS. ALEXIS focuses on designs that are feminine, sophisticated and elegant. Her designs are my favorite out of the three collections. The dresses are all perfect for summer with bright colors as well as a few neutral colors. This green printed mini dress has long balloon sleeves and features a ruffled hem. The dress has a straight fit but features a rope belt to cinch the waist and to give the dress an adorable detail. The color of this dress would also look great on anyone!

The last designer out of the trio is RIXO. RIXO is a brand that focuses on vintage design, art, and culture. Many of the dresses have bright colors, floral prints, and polka dots. I often gravitate to stripes over polka dots, but I think this polka dot dress is adorable. I love the bright colored polka dots against the black base, and I love how the polka dots are varying sizes. The long balloon sleeves and the sweetheart neckline are feminine details and the low cut back is subtle but chic.
