Animal prints are such a hot trend right now, and this year snakeskin has made its mark. I do love leopard print, but I think I am loving the snakeskin trend even more right now. To me it is sophisticated and can be styled so many different ways.
Banana Republic Factory has a few items right now featuring snakeskin print. I saw this skirt and fell in love with it. I love how the print is subtle making it a little more classic looking, but I also love the fit. The skirt has an a-line silhouette which is very flattering for so many different body types. It also has an elastic pull-on waist which makes it really easy to wear. This skirt can be worn with so many different types of tops depending on your occasion. For a night out, this skirt would look great with a trendy black off-the-shoulder or cold-shoulder blouse. For a casual look, you could wear this skirt with a gray t-shirt and a pair of white sneakers. Since I usually opt for more classic styles, I decided to wear the skirt with this light blue sleeveless top also from Banana Republic Factory. This top is very simple but it features a small bow detail at the neck. Unfortunately, this top is sold out in the blue, but it is available in white, black, and yellow, all of which would also look great with the skirt.
To finish the outfit, I added my favorite pair of nude heeled sandals which are a major closet staple for me. For an accessory, I wore these gray statement earrings from Target and added this crossbody bag. If you wanted to make this outfit a little more work-appropriate, you could add a white, black, or gray blazer on top for more coverage.
